Furniture Buying Guide
Use this furniture buying guide to compare options at Matrix Luxury Living and check the details that matter before ordering.
How do I measure for furniture?
Measure the room and the space for each piece. Compare the width, depth and height with the product’s confirmed dimensions. Check doorways, hallways, stairs and lifts, and allow room for drawers, doors and reclining seats to open.
How do I choose a sofa configuration?
Check the selected seating layout and orientation. If a listing uses LHF or RHF, ask our team to confirm the viewing convention and the position of the chaise or corner section. Compare the chosen configuration with your room and access measurements.
Does a furniture set include every piece shown?
Check the itemised description and selected option. Some listings offer pieces individually or together. For dresser listings, Mirror, Dresser and Dresser + Mirror represent different purchases. Decorative accessories shown in photos should not be assumed to be included.
How do I choose a bed and mattress?
Check the bed frame’s required mattress size and the dimensions of the complete frame. Compare mattress construction and the listed firmness options. Confirm whether the mattress is included rather than assuming it comes with the bed.
How do I choose a rug size?
Measure and mark out the proposed size on your floor. Consider the placement of sofas and tables, and allow dining chairs to move when pulled out. For runners, confirm the width, required length and pricing unit with our team before ordering.
Can I see a product in the showroom?
Contact our team with the product name to confirm whether it is currently on display before visiting the Dandenong South showroom.
How do I confirm availability and delivery?
Contact us with the product name or link, selected option and your suburb. Ask our team to confirm availability, delivery or pickup arrangements and any applicable charges before ordering.
